Easter Activity Packs

This is a time when we are normally out and about enjoying the Easter holiday.  As we are unable to do so this year, some activity packs have been put together for you to use. There is no expectation for you to complete these tasks, but feel free to send examples to your teacher, just like you have been doing over the past 2 weeks.  We have included packs from both key stages so that you have a wide variety of different activities to choose from.

The packs cover a variety of subjects, including reading, writing and maths, but there is also a range of other subjects such as art, history and geography, alongside some challenge cards to keep your brains ticking over. You may pick and choose the activities you would like to do.

Remember to keep your daily journal going with your thoughts, feelings, what you have been doing, etc.  You will be able to look back on this one day when people ask what it was like when the schools all closed.

Home Learning Pack

Weekly Update.

It was really sad to see everyone leave on Friday and I know many of the children, like ourselves, were feeling quite upset. Fingers crossed, that it will only be for a short period of time and we can all come together again soon. Please find enclosed the work pack for this week. Some of the activities will take longer than a week to do, particularly the topic based ones. Maths and English will be uploaded weekly and should allow children to become confident in the calculation methods they have been focussing on. All written work should be completed in their home learning books. Any queries don’t hesitate to contact us.

Many Thanks

Year 3 Team

PE days

Please note that our PE day has changed to Wednesdays.  Please could we remind you that all children should be in full St Nicholas, named PE kits, with any jewellery removed (earrings).

Our topics are Dance and Tag Rugby.  Dance will be indoors and require shorts, plimsolls and t-shirts.  Tag Rugby will be outdoors, so children may wear black jogging bottoms and trainers.

Many thanks

Term 2 Catch Up

Hello all,

I can’t believe it’s nearly Christmas and the end of term is almost upon us. We’ve had a busy time since the last half term beginning with;

Boogie bounce. Which was great fun, and exhausting!

Odd sock day to highlight how great it is to be different during Anti Bullying Week.

A fantastic day of sports at the Marsh Academy.

Estimating in maths.

and finally, learning how to present forward rolls in PE.

Unfortunately we still have quite a few children who either do not have the correct PE kit, or have no PE kit in school at all. It is really important that children are correctly prepared for all lessons.

Thank you

The Year Three Team
