Messy mummification!

                                                   

This week Year 4 have been busily mummifying fish. It was a rather smelly, slippery process but we had great fun. We had to wash and dry the fish and then their organs would have been removed. Fortunately, our fish had already been gutted! After that, we covered them with salt to dry the fish out. When the drying process is complete we will uncover the fish for the next part of the process. We’ll report back to you next time…

Star of the Week

Our first star of the week was awarded to Carmela for having a positive attitude to her learning and always being so polite, helpful and hardworking. Well done Carmela.

This weeks star of the week was awarded to Neil for being a fantastic role model and always giving 100% to everything he does. This showed brilliantly through his maths reasoning skills. Great work Neil.

PE -Football

This term we have been working on our football skills, including warm ups where the children have had to listen carefully to place the named body part onto the football. They were very good at this, as you can see from the photos. Children also enjoyed the game- last man standing and playing matches against each other, amongst many other skills learnt
