Bushcraft

Here are a few photos from our residential.  A CD with a variety of photos will be provided later in the year.

Natacha – ‘It was really good, even though it was a 3 hour journey. The activities were really fun.’

Bronwyn – ‘Bushcraft was one of the best experiences of my life because it taught me first aid and things that I didn’t already know. It was really interesting.’

Mollie C – ‘Bushcraft was a really good trip. I enjoyed the games and making a den for ‘Wrap Man’ The worst bit was when we watched the lady cut open a Salmon and when five children fish eyeballs.’

Archie – ‘Bushcraft was really good’.

Morgan – ‘Bushcraft was really fun because we had lots of fun. My favourite part was the first aid sessions and rescuing the teachers.’

George G – ‘Bushcraft was a blast! I found it super fun and it was definitely worth it.   I enjoyed learning how to use a knife to make a tent peg.’

Ellie – May – ‘Bushcraft was good because it helped us to become independent and responsible for chores that our parents usually do.’

Home Learning

Home Learning will officially start from next week, so please check back here for further information.

In the meantime, we would like the children to have read at least 5 times by the end of next week (13.09.19).

The children are allowed to write in their own Reading Records to show that they have read – please can you also sign this at least once a week to confirm that the reading has taken place.

Many thanks,

Mrs Lee and Mrs Longman
