Living Things and Their Habitats.
Complete the activity on ‘animal classes’.
Climate Zones
Look at the PPT.
Task 1: Match the description the correct climate and graph. You could simply number the descriptions, write the climate name and the letter of the graph e.g. Description 1, Polar, C.
Task 2: Use an atlas (could be online) to work out which climate zone each location belongs to.
The Body Coach
Short routines such as the link below could be carried out daily.

Athletics challenge card
Work through the ‘Jumps’ challenges – can you earn the ‘Gold Medal’?
Have you improved upon your performance from last week?
(Linked to Science)
Continue with the task from last week:
Over the next few weeks, we would like you to build a portfolio of different animals. By the end of term, you will have to sketch one animal from each class of the vertebrate group of the animal Kingdom (this will make more sense as you work through the science activities).
Ongoing activities.
Continue to work on your chosen project
1. Soap dispenser
2. PPE face mask
3. Nutritious food
4. Protective and practical apron
5. Transportation device e.g. a trolley
You should now be on ‘activity 3’.
If you are unable to make the item in a few weeks’ time, don’t panic – you can always design something else instead.
Listen to a range of music and sounds e.g. birds singing, the ticking of a clock or the banging of a hammer. List the sounds you heard then comment on how they made you feel and what they made you think about.
Have a look at the website below and see if you can create similar sounds to the ones that you have already observed.

You could consider adding a voice – this could be by adding whistling humming or singing.

Challenge:
Can you create ‘We Will Rock You’?
Days of the week
Look at the document with the days of the week in French and English – learn and practise saying these.
Once you are confident, try to match (or write) the French and English words,
then draw a picture of something that you do on that day.
Can you write a sentence in French, saying what day it is?
(there is a hint on the worksheet).
Look at the ‘Cardboard Cathedral’
Task:
What is your opinion of a stone Cathedral being replaced with one made out of recycled materials? Is it disrespectful towards God to create a holy building out of ‘rubbish’?
Well done to Samuel and Owen in Elm class. Both boys continue to work to a high standard – keep it up!
Well done to Molly in Oak class for always having a smile on her face, including when she is exercising to Jo Wicks!
Here is an overview for the week ahead. Further information and documents can be found below.
Please note – Friday is a Bank Holiday, therefore we have only set 4 days of English and Maths. It is up to you whether or not any learning is completed on this day. We have included lots of activities for VE Day, so you might like to pick and choose from these (there is no expectation to complete them all).
If you have any questions, please send a message via Dojo to Mrs Lee or Mrs Firth.
